Frances worked at PwC and the BBC before setting up her own Career Coaching Consultancy in 2014. She founded The Maternity Coach in 2019 to support women through their maternity transition, so they don’t lose sight of themselves in their pursuit of being a great mother and employee. Frances was shortlisted for the CDI Career Development Awards Career Coach of the Year 2018, 2021 and 2022 for her work coaching mothers on maternity leave.
Frances lives in Surrey with her husband Matt and her two daughters.
Frances’ coaching work is focused on helping you find clarity in who you are and what you want to achieve in your career as a working mum. She helps clients value the strengths that parenting has boosted and how these are valuable when we return to work. Becoming a mum causes a massive increase in our mental load, and Frances wants to help her clients manage this, and create and maintain healthy boundaries to allow you to be the best parent you can be at home and best employee you can be at work. She is empathetic and warm, and creates a calm safe space for you to step back from your day-to-day life and focus on your needs and goals during this key life transition.
