After a decade in marketing Jo transitioned to the world of coaching and completed her Executive Coach training qualification in 2021. Since then, Jo has been committed to working with returning parents from across a wide range of industries. With experience of coaching 1:1 clients, Jo also regularly coaches groups of returning parents. There is a great deal more research being done around the impact of having children both emotionally and physically which makes this a fascinating and quickly evolving area to specialise in. Jo has three children and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice. She is dedicated to helping others navigate this significant life transition.
Jo’s approach to coaching is with a great deal of empathy but also assertiveness to ensure coachees get what they need from the sessions. Jo feels that one of the most precious aspects of Maternity Coaching is providing time that is ring fenced as it is something parents get very little of plus a chance to approach challenges with a different perspective. Jo’s main objective is to ensure clients leave her coaching sessions feeling calm and confident, equipped with the tools they need to thrive both at home and in their careers.
